The supporting characters of the cast of The Sopranos! Adriana La Cuervo is Christopher Moltisanti's fiancée' on the show. She originally cast as the hostess at Artie Bucco's Restaurant Vesuvio's. The role of Adriana is to support Christopher Moltisanti in everything he does which is fueled by the intense love and compassion she has for him. Adriana is an optimist about the future with the hopes and dreams that every fiancée' has going into being marriage. She had always supported Christopher's dreams of climbing up the Soprano corporate ladder, but in season 4, with the help of the FBI, she is being more cognizant of the implications of this lifestyle. Adriana La Cuerva is played by Drea De Matteo, a native New Yorker, who was originally cast for the role based on her ability to vocalize vowels with a New York/New Jersey accent. Charmiane Bucco is married to Artie. Presently the marriage is experiencing some of the bumps in the highway of life, but there may be reason for optimism in the future. Charmiane despises Tony Sopranos lifestyle and has no problem reminding Artie about this on a frequent basis. Charmaine which among other issues has caused a rift in holy matrimony. Charmaine Bucco is played by Katherine Narducci. Gabriella Dante is the wife of Silvio Dante, the part owner and full time manager of the Bada Bing. Gabby, as she is sometimes referred to in season 4 has been become more vocal regarding issues that she feels are important to her. Devoted to her husband and family, she gives Silvio a consistent home life which is a perfect balance for someone who is a consigliore to Tony Soprano. Gabriella Dante is played by Maureen Van Zandt. Eugene Pontecorvo was originally part of Gigi Cestone's (John Fiore) crew. With the demise of Gigi, Eugene became a soldier of Ralph Cifaretto (Joe Pantoliano). Eugene was also on of the people who got "made" with Christopher Moltisanti in Paulie Walnut's mother Nucci's basement, in the episode "Fortunate Son". Another great scene with Gene the gambler was at Gigi's funeral, Eugene was busy checking his eye lids for pinholes. Bobby "Bacala" Baccilieri is the replacement for the late Mikey Palmice as a devoted caretaker to Uncle Junior Corrado Soprano. Commonly known as Bacala, Bobby insures that Uncle Junior in his older years is properly taken care of and safe. We learned in season 4 that Bobby is married with 2 children, but unfortunately also in season4, his beloved wife Karen was tragically left him a widow with the responsibility of raising the 2 children alone. Bobby is really lucky (or is he) that his neighbor Janice (Tony's sister) has been so attentive to his families needs? As always with Janice, there always is speculation about her motives. When you visit the Bada Bing, one of the first things you want, besides the beautiful dancers, is a drink. And who better to serve you than Georgie the bartender. Poor Georgie, a real softie, he is always getting abused by Tony or his buddies. But Georgie, regardless, is always there when needed. Georgie is played by Frank Santorelli. Frank has also been interviewed by Soprano Sue, read it here! Rosalie Aprile is the wife of the late Jackie Aprile, Sr. the former head of the DeMeo crime family. Rosalie had struggled with the raising of her only son, Jackie, Jr., who also met an early death. Rosalie's friends, Carmela and Gabriella, still include her in the family activities and lend her support in the single life. She dated Ralph Cifaretto, shortly before his disappearance, but threw him out about having enough of his shenanigans. Rosalie Aprile is played by the actress Sharon Angela.
